I can give you a few pointers on driving a s2k with the ptuning kit. Whats the first track day you're planning to attend with the car?
Lol yeah first tip screw a 2x4 to the back of the gas pedal

Ron has a good head on his shoulders. I can imagine an instructor not being too excited, though.

That's a good tip VPS. One of the first thing I'm going to do is to put a big brake kit and of course practice how to roll the trottle and not step on it like I'm used to.

lol yeah thats gonna be so hard to do. its so addicting to mash that throttle!!!! I'm thinking of taking the step to turbo jasons car has finally gotten to me and I have to have that power!!!! cept I only want 300whp for the track.

then the 400+ so I can actually play with these annoying vettes on the road. but the turbo wont happen till the end of this year so I'm gonna get some good track time without turbo this year and make my decision during fall-winter. see how I compete against other cars if I can hold my own against my class I'll be ok without turbo but if I can kill them in corner but get pulled away from the the straits it'll be turbo time.

either way I can't wait to have some healthy competition with some of you!!!

That's why my car is now boosted. I was tired of having to ride behind someone for half a session before they would let off and let my "slower" car by. I am sure I will still have the same problem but with faster cars now.... But atleast I get to feel boost though!

Update:

The car is going to Racelabz on Saturday for the rest of the cage. Currently in a mad scramble to get all the other "real" race car parts together. Brain Hair at OG Racing is really helpful. Highly recommend talking to him for your track needs.

Rob, I went with a Setrab oil cooler, Mocal sandwich plate with integrated thermostat, and 10AN fittings and lines. I'll try to photograph the install in case you want to use it as a how to on your site.

Glad to hear the car is in the shop for the "transformation." I'd love to have a write up and pics of your oil cooler install.

You may also find that you'd rather just spend the money on tires/pads/seat time.

Glad to hear that another s2000 race car is in the works. Can't wait to see the finished product and see how it performs!
