Just spritzes of rain sunday. no standing starts yet---gobbled up by v8's and anything else with more than 140 ft-lb tq on a rolling start.
Wow, Matt's cliff notes of his weekend are short!
Thanks Pete and Barrie for coming out Saturday!

Hey gentlemen, I'm Aaron from Germantown, MD, not too far from Oleg.
I'm not sure where else to post this so I'll ask the experts. I finally got my HD roll bar installed a month ago and I'm finally getting around to registering for a track event at Summit Point. Question is what event would you recommend to a beginner? I'm thinking FATT in october or november?
Also I'm planning on ordering the new formula EBC Yellows, this ok for a beginner? I don't think I can handle noisy hp+ on my DD for one or two days at the track.
My mods so far:
Eibach Pro kit with OEM shocks (purely for looks)
Weds TC105n 17x9 255/40 HTRZIII all four corners (thanks to Oleg's famous fender roll)
Saner anti-sway bar, on softest setting
ss brake lines, race brake fluid
K&N FIPK, Comptech dual

Mercedes is running a 2 day weekend HPDE in October. They probably provide more seat time than any other club at their events (usually 4+ sessions per run group). A single day FATT is also a nice way to get started.
Not a big fan of EBC pads but they should hold you for a couple events at least. Trying to get a DD street pad and a real track pad in the same compound is a pipe dream IMHO. My advice would be to get a track pad (run at track) and just change back to street pads for the street.
You should probably stiffen up the front bar. You will probably get a fair amount of rub with the soft Eibach springs.
I am connected to both Mercedes and FATT so I am biased towards them.
