Car is done. I warped the head and had some sticking valves, but the short block was good thank god.

Edit: I got a trick valve job and a milled head, so should be making more power and higher compression. Kevin Helms says block was fine, but he's never seen a head so warped.

All because I didnt put $2 of mesh in front of the radiator...

Matt and Jim, I apologize for not being able to get with you guys early on this year to give the front rotors that I owe. I have them since February but never had a chance to meet either of you at the track. I will try to meet both of you on your next Summit Point event or you can text me at 571-435-2334 to meet some where else at your convenience.

Kevin, I will get with you this week to pick up those Carbotech pads. They may be up for sale also.

Jason, please change my status to 100% not going now. Sorry for the change.

Thank you all for the great knowledge and most importantly a wonderful friendship that you all have bestowed upon me in this community.

God bless.
We all love you buddy, keep in touch! I hope you get well quickly and come back to the track soon.

My father in laws truck needs new trans lines so I am towing my car to the shop tomorrow with my grampa's '03 Avalanche. I love it.

Did a little more testing on my temps today. With 95+ ambient temp my oil maintains a steady 150* while cruising (light throttle) on the highway. When I come to a stoplight it'll climb a little but nothing significant. Stop and go traffic it got up to 190* but dropped rapidly once rolling.

I think the cooler oil temps are keeping the coolant temps down as well. Highway cruising of coolant temps were 175*, which is much lower than my boosted s2k (195-200*)

I'm interested to see what temperatures I'll see on track. However, I would feel no worry over tracking in hot hot temperatures.

I'll need to fashion something like what George has for street driving. I think 150 (oil) is just too low for street driving.

In other news I entered the MachV charity car show today and took this home.
