You flew the F-15? Was it amazing?
I flew the F-15 right after Air Force pilot training. Later I flew trainers and the C-141. Flying the F-15 was amazing but it's impossible to describe. It's kind of like trying to tell someone that's never been in a race car what that's like. When celebrities are given rides in fighter jets they are never subjected to the violence of combat air maneuvers. They get a joy ride with a few aerobatics and still end up getting sick. In pilot training we occasionally pulled 7 Gs for a second or two in the T-38, but the F-15 could pull 9 Gs for several minutes because of it's huge engines. The first time I pulled 9 Gs my skin turned red from all the capillaries bursting under the strain but your body does get used to it and it almost becomes mundane.

^you should have a sticker on the s2k that says not quite the F-15 I used to fly

I can only imagine how awesome it is to fly something like that.

Any one of you guys running KWs ever deal with having them rebuilt whether it was KW or another rebuilder? If so, what was your experience like.

I had my front shocks off the car this weekend and with them apart I noticed the smallest amount of fluid near the upper seal on one of them (could be both but I didn't pay close enough attention to the other) They still ride great and driving the car I don't have any indication that it's blown but it has me wondering how long it's been like that. When I say the smallest amount of fluid I'm saying if you were using a syringe it would be 3-4 drops worth of fluid. It wasn't a massive pool and a soaked shock.

I feel like I could probably go on driving them as is for quite a while before they need to be rebuilt but we are still in off season so I feel like now is a better time to take care of it.

My other option is to be brutally honest about their condition and let them go for a reasonable deal and just buy new shocks.

Plans are being finalized with my brother. Things could change a litle bit as originally planned due to a family dynamics and involvement of +1s and kids. The entire family love the cars but regardless, the PTuning turbo S will be running in the track with me piloting it.

Stay tuned for more...

9G's. The government really is ahead of private sector.

My phone isn't even 4G, yet.
