Not this time. I do want to make it up there sometime though. I have been to watch the Rolex cars the last two years. It looks like a lot of fun.

Did you get your clutch issue fixed?

Still on the same clutch. I get a bit of slip at the moment, but it should hold (for now). I'm really looking forward to a lighter set up. That OEM AP2 flywheel is heavy at 22lbs!!!

Anyone near NJMP with Carbotech XP 10 or 12 fronts forsale. I thought I had enough pad for tomorrow. But it looks l was a bit too greedy on the brakes today.

Edit: Decided to cut my losses and skip day 2. On another note, I can't seem to figure out Lightning. I wasn't able to put down a decent lap. Lots of traffic & when it cleared I was a bit sloppy. Fastest was 1:17.2 per Harry's lap timer.

Oleg - How strong is the splitter material you used and what thickness did you use?

I need something to mount my accusump to in the trunk area. Total weight will be the three quart oil capacity plus 5-10 lbs for the accusump/mounting hardware. I want to create a sheet of thick plastic/alumalite? and remove the carpet/speakers in the rear hatch. I think in the end it'll look much cleaner and function better.

Cale's tire trailer drove down the driveway for the last time today. I got a little choked up. At least it's going to a good home to continue carrying S2000 tires.

I used 1/4 in alumalite. It is really stiff. It is a sandwich structure, meaning you have a vow density core material in the middle and a high stiffness material as a skin. This allows the structure to withstand high bending loads without buckling, therefore being a great candidate for a high stiffness-low weight splitter material or for any other structural duty.
