I use Race Technology software and DL1 data logger.
Pete was kind enough to ride with me and give me some pointers during one session, that's him in the passenger seat at one point in the video.
Well, the car was loose at low speeds....I can blame it on the tires, or it may be just my driving it remains to be determined whenever I get some new tires.
My alignment was out of whack as well since I raised the car by a lot.
The wing is definitely helping, but it also slows the car down by a lot. I need to play with adjusting it as well.
As Pete said, oil filter came loose and I dumped about 3-4 quarts of oil on the exhaust, that's where all the smoke came from.
But yeah, the car did not feel comfortable and that's why I was conservative through the big bend...
If anyone has some critique, please post. I want to know.

Now I need to get the car fixed up and go back to improve....
What's the reasonable time one can get on street tires?

All Seasons? With a good summer only tire you should be real close for a few laps until they heat up.

I ran NT05's last weekend was keeping pace with another Z06 with Hoosier's, I have no idea how fast lap time wise but way faster than the times I was getting in my Miata.

They would heat up a bit with about 5-7 laps on them and get a bit slippy so I could not get on the power early or fully on some of the corners, and that's where the Hoosier car would inch away a bit.

^^^Nice to hear an actual track review of the tires. Looking forward to seeing how they wear as mileage goes up.

Here are a few laps, sped up a bit, But more along the lines of what it feels like on track vs slow and boring normal speed videos.

I am playing with the Go pro software

David -- I just found out about it on Monday myself. I was going to see if it rotated video and then let you know about it. Haven't had a chance to test it, yet.

Oleg - great video highlighting your oversteer correction techniques. A few times I thought a spin was coming but your fast hands corrected the car.
