I recommend taping your ducts shut when bedding your brakes.

George, what are the dimensions--in and out--of those ducts? They really look like they'd be a good way to prevent rubbing.

Now you tell me.

2.5" at the small end, I had some 2.5" hose that I attached and made a outer sleeve so I could attach the 3.5" hose over it to the spindle duct.

4.5" OD on the larger side.

IMO it's mostly people smashing the crush sleeve with hard launches and rough driving. Keep in mind it's basically a Miata diff inside the case.

You could feed some 3 or 2.5 inch hose inside the large end and use standard 2.5 inch to the brakes. I might have to order a couple of these to have on hand for the next time I pull the nose.

Lost my Mazda parts deal. I wonder if a AutoX is a valid race?

SCCA autocrosses count. There is a double event in two weeks, that could be your two events.

Pretty sure autocross would work, it would need to be a national tour or pro solo for mazdaspeed to recognize it. Closest one is Toledo at the end of July, but it has a 100+ person wait list. Next closest is Peru, IN the week after.....not sold out.

It doesn't need to be a national tour or pro solo, my brother is in the program doing regular WDCR championship events.
