I like the oil cooler adapter, George. I have the lingenfelter adapter for when I install the oil cooler system.

What year corvette are you running?

What size oil cooler? I just got a 25 row setrab, hoping that's large enough to keep the LS1 cool.

Where have you been, bought it in March.

I need to read up, but it's something like running the car in the air sans wheels and just using a few lugs nuts to hold the rotors down with some tension to activate the the TC system,

Metros's its a 2003 Z06, the cooler is a Doug Rippie kit wit the same Setrab unit, I have a sheet of thick plastic sheeting that I can velcro on for street use if its too effective,

The Cooler took about 3/4 of a qt

Kevin, an Accusump is a reasonable for a full on race car but adds a lot of complexity and potential fail points. I've discussed it with a couple accomplished S2000 racers when I was considering adding one (to a race car, I'll add) and I decided that I would be satisfied with a baffled pan and an oil cooler. I'm going to add a oil pressure gauge and see what it tells me with this setup. Oil temperatures are the big killer in heavily tracked S2000s.

You need to be going pretty fast to need any of this stuff and you're probably not there yet. Don't take this as a criticism; I don't even know that I'm there yet.

I am keeping the Miata, it's going to see more track time than the Vette since it costs little to run. It's not for sale.

i will get the vette to VIR and maybe another NASA at SP Main event plus the Cumberland AutoX events.

See, it's not just me.

NIce one by the way, and I like that blue color. I've been looking at the '02-04 Z06 for long time, I just can't quite pull the trigger on it yet. Is it true that they have dual or devided fuel tank?

I need advice on tires. Trying to decide which tires would suite my purpose. Weekend fun drives with occasional track and autocross. My choices are, NT01, RS3, and Z1 SS.

NT01s I've tried and loved them but I thought they aren't really ideal for dual purpose. I used to trailer them to the track and autocross.

RS3s I've heard the National level autoxers loves them but I think they have to be shaved down to a certain tread dept to really shine. Haven't read much about track duty on them.

Z1 SS I've tried them and loved them, great all around but it tend to get overcooked when I used them at autox (could be my un refined driving). Honestly I'm more leaning to this one.

Any input will be greatly appreciated. TIA

If you plan on driving more on weekends than on track I would go with option 3. R-comps on the street jus isn't needed. But, with all that power they would be very nice on track.

By the way I plan on signing up for TD Jun3 23-24 at NJMP but almost sure on TD Jul 7-8 at SP Main. Any interest on these TD dates?

I am still kinda weary on signing up for NJ. Lots of money. I will most likely save the money and just do summit main. I'll know after next weekend if I'm going to Nj.
