Rob, is your seat on a fixed mount or still on a slider? Any pics if it's a fixed setup?

It is less work to run a higher offset wheel. Here are a few options:

-6ULR 17x9 +63 (Discontinued till next year, but can look for used)
-TR Motorsports C3 17x9 +63 (Only find on Tire Rack...cheapest option)
-Enkei PF01 17x9 +60 (Come in black or silver)
-TSW Interlagos 17x9 +63 (Black or machined)
-TSW Nurburgring 17x9 +63 (Bronze, gunmetal, and machined/gunmetal)
-Advan RG-D 17x9 +60 (Black, gold, and silver)

-Volk CE28N 17x9 +63 (Bronze, silver, Genesis edition)

-Volk RE-30 17x9 +63

-Buddy Club P1 - 17x9 +63
-Rays G07WT - 17x9 +63
-Volk TE37 Seibon Edition - 17x9 +65 (Black/red time attack look. Usually sold as staggered set but may be able to ask seller for nonstaggered)

In additon, there are a couple wheels in other sizes that might work:

-Spoon Racing Wheel 17x9.5 +63 or 17x8.5 +53 (Ugly colors, plus it's expensive for a cast wheel, but it's SPOON. Edit: They do have plain silver. This above would make a great staggered setup (size/offset). Could run a 245/275 combo)

-SSR Type C or Type F - 17x8.5 +58
-SSR Type C or Type F - 17x9.5 +65
-OZ Allegerita - 17x8.5 +59
-Volk CE28N - 17x9 +54

My cage builder welded the seat mount to the floor. The seat bottom is on the floor--when you do this without carpet you'll be surprised how low you are. I don't have any pics of the mount but I'll see if I can get some taken.

Also, if you noticed the location of their right side net it's at semilar location as your (S) right side net. So it seems that your right side net position location is not too low after all as too what some were saying?

These guys were running a short halo. I think part of their configuration is that they put a premium on visibility for the Rolex 24. With all the dissimilar passing that goes on they don't want the halos or side nets in the line of sight. They're using the halo for head support so they put their side nets low for shoulder and arm support.

My side net was raised about an inch after this pic was taken. It runs just below my line of sight but high enough to support my helmet in a side impact.

I was surprised how lose some of the side nets were. When the guys were weaving for tire heat their side nets were moving side to side.

Pete (TubeDriver) runs the 17x9 +63 TSW Nurburgrings and doesn't seem to have any problems. As a bonus the TSWs are one of the only high offset wheels that are BBK friendly, due to no lip. The wheels look pretty good, are somewhat light (although not as light as RPF1s) and are only around $850.

Actually that does bring up a question though, with the 9" +63 up front, is there room for brake duct tubing? I know the +45 offset pushes the wheel out 15mm more, giving some clearance.

I lightly rub my 2 1/2 inch ducting at full lock when I'm running my NT01s on 9x17 +63 wheels.

Rob, look at that guy's harness. Completely off his HANS. Shame on his crew chief.
