The splitter worked well. In order for it to be functional it just has to stick out past the bumper.
The material was robust, it survived a couple of curbing incidents and one off excursion. Therefore I declare it a success. I do have a couple of upgrades in mind for it though.
I have enough material to make a second splitter. I can have it stick out further than mine if preferred. I just wanted to go by the restrictions that Rob mentioned. Let me know who is interested. Matt, you have dibs on the one I can make out of the material that I have left over. For more people I'd have to order some more.

I also read that they break-in and are fine after a few weeks. Will know shortly. I will install after the honeymoon.

I was thinking of getting the mounts one step stiffer than the 75A.

My front alignment is hosed. No wonder I was drifting around VIR and my top end blew. I put my Star Specs on, in order to prepare for my V A inspection, and found the left front chewed up on the inside, possibly more than normal. The right front had an even wear. I think the right front is the problem. SP T 3 gravel trap, most likely.
It's a good idea to over torque the alignment bolts and mark them with some paint to see if they slipped.

Oleg mentions a lock that prevents it from backing off. I thought it was a bit of a gimmick before but probably worth the money. He's pretty lucky there was no fire. That much oil on the header could have been much worse of a situation.
