Matt,

Junk the passenger window, track and motor. Put a bracket on the glass and install/remove it manually.

I thought that was common for both windows with a cage

Normally the passenger side of the cage doesn't have NASCAR type bars that protrude into the door so the door can stay stock.

I have that type of window setup on the drivers side. I was trying to keep it "simple" for the pass side but it hasnt worked out that way so far. It may just end up getting pitched and the door gutted.

In other news, I'll proudly be running Cale's hardtop. We've banged out a bunch of the dents and should be able to get it reasonably good looking with body filler and a repaint. We've made a lexan window for it and pretty much cut out the interior reinforcements so it fits over the cage. It will not look perfect, but it beats sacrificing a $3300 top. Plus, I like to think he'd be happy with his top finally going racing.

You should paint is Heinz red and put a 57 on it. That would actually look pretty cool on a black race car.

I'm good with the 57 but am leaning toward flat black or flat orange. The top is so beat up that gloss paint is going to show the dents like crazy.
