Hey, instructor types.

Never got an answer from a couple of pages ago. Are unmatched seats ok as long as both are FIA, and have matching harnesses? I figure yes, but I wouldn't want to unintentionally show up looking like a jerk.
They don't have to be FIA rated.

But it is not a bad idea to get FIA rated seats (even if they do not match).

Random question: does the passenger window have to be able to roll down?

Drivers side also. Both need to be down during any track session. Rain or shine.

NASA has you run with the top down also, rain or shine, unless you have a hardtop.

I am hoping for that result. I intend to be like Rob and live at SP as much as possible this year. Of course I have no hardtop, so that will slow me down some. But hey, I have no timing device either, so I really won't know how I am doing, except for what the GoPro shows me. (or if I can pass Matt and he is timing himself :-) )
Hit Pete up to do lead/follow at some point. Its really fun and you'll learn a lot. You'll also be frustrated that he can pull away from you seemingly at will, but its still really fun.

Pete used to do that in the Miata also, he would drive at a certain pace, even follow for a bit. Then get bored just vanish in a few corners.

I chalk it up to him weighing 100 lbs soaking wet and a 1.8L engine.

Mani and TN Rob,

I'm going to MidO for the August race to practice for Nats and I will be there in Sept.

I know they have a big E30 class but don't know about 3.

The first MidA race for me will be April as it is too cold for racing in Feb and March, I'll spend my money in the spring/summer months.

Hey, I weigh 150lbs (soaking wet).

I found some nice, old khaki pants that I have not worn in a while. I could not get them to button up. Me belly is too big.
