Thanks, George. Are they FIA rated? I'm having trouble finding info about them online.
No, I think they offer them with the FIA rating for more $$.

It was a very strange web transaction.

I had Bride seats in my S2000, they fit well but were not lower, which in my case was not needed.

Call them, they made a hardtop specific model for My Miata, maybe there is one for the S2000.

Harddog fits under OEM hardtop no problem. I don't see how you can have any issues. Wost case, adjust the height of the top.

It will fit. There is plenty of room between the OEM HT and the bar, and i confirmed with Bethania that they fit under a fake mugen top as well (used to have one, before I saw the light)

Suggest getting Bethania to confirm first though.

If you are buying aftermarket seats, make sure you take the time (and money) to get a seat that you a comfortable in. I bought the Sprint V seats based on price and really wish I would have bought something a little better. Driving the car with them in it every day sucked. Now that it is mainly a track/fun car I don't mind them at all. Just make sure that you know what you are getting into as it is best to "do it right the first time".
Didnt realize this conversation was about seats for a street car.

Comfort is important.

However unless you enjoy hassles, you will probably end up driving the car a lot less with harnesses in. Running errands with a 5 or 6 point harness, and the attendant buckling, tightening, unbuckling, and so on is a major PITA.

I remember following Pete home via the Greenway and Toll road once.

He sailed though with a Ezpass, I had to stop, unbuckle, retrieve wallet etc. I think Pete was home by the time I got though that.

I was unable to get both harness and seatbelts to work in a race bucket in the S2000. I was able to get that in the corvette using the OEM seat and the Teamtech Jet pilot harness.

The race buckets in the Miata are comfy for track driving and short trips but are murder after more than a hour.

Harness = EZ pass

But don't drop the EX Pass on the floor or you are SCREWED!

My Sparco Rev Plus are pretty comfortable with a lumbar bolster. I can drive for 5+ hours and still feel decent.
