Lemons
Ha ha, thats the actual beer, it's just all the way in the background and not in the car.
We are cutting it close, the race is in two weeks and we still have a lot of things to cover : /

Oleg you posted the pic, you knew the armchair race car builders would pipe up....

It may not be visible, but a bar across the dashboard area connecting the left and right sides of the cage is a really good idea. It doesnt have a lot of lateral rigidity with out it if you take a side hit to the frontal side of the car.

What kind of car is this?

Where is your seat back brace? I think that is a rule.

You're right, the bar across the dashboard would be a good idea, but given time constraints, I don't think it'll happen. The car is 1986 nissan Stanza The seat back brace is not mandatory if the seat is nonreclineable/ bucket.

Since I've autocrossed a bunch, I think I think there's a good chance I'll be cooking my stock pads at the track this spring.

Are there any good track pads that I won't need a second set of rotors for?

Also, can I get away with stock pads in the rear? It'd be nice to spend $170 instead of $320 if I could get away with it.
I've been reading about Hawk HPS from GRM, other furoms and some sites so far they are all saying that it is the best brake pads for both world.

I don't think you could get away with just a stock pads on the rear. Rob and others have proven that our rear pads gets pretty hot, even my rear pads are out before my fronts.

I've run HPSes on the the track, and wouldn't recommend it. They just can't handle the heat and you will end up braking really early because you won't be able to trust them.
