Wow, multi piston calipers, two piece custom rotors? Those things must cost $2-3k. Guess you'll have to give up your e-brake functionality.

What do yall think of this baffle? Look any good? It's only $25: https://www.s2ki.com/...oil-pan-baffle/

The way that baffle is set up it will protect you under braking but side loads from long corners--the real threat--will slosh the oil sideways so I do not like the design of this particular baffle.

Ron, don't worry about the brake caliper boots, they're really not needed.

tru tru, i was thinking of doing it friday, but didn't want to risk anything... i still need to put on the ball joints (most likely will switch my plans to use the J's brackets instead)... which means i'd have to get an alignment. Kind of hard to make time to work on your car when you're constantly on the opposite coast :|

Btw robrob are you going to be at SP this wknd? Not sure if you got my msg on FB about the seat belt bracket for the taitec rails... let me know

Oil baffles scare me. I have seen more than one story about them breaking, blocking oil flow and destroying an engine.

Ron bleed them again.

You might need to activate ABS a few times then bleed the brakes.

I like to gravity bleed them, but it takes a while.

I like to use the traditional method first and then around 5-10 minutes of gravity bleed at each corner at the end. I always had good brake pedal using this method.

I like the combo bleed too. Pump to get the big bubbles then let it gravity bleed for a while.

Thanks for the brake advice fellows. Since I have no full enclosed garage (cold) and in panic mode already, I went ahead paid Ptuning to bleed them for me. Actually they flushed the brake fluids with newer ATE blue so the brake is better now. Although it's not exactly at where I want it to be so for next season, I will do the combo bleed and ABS activation rebleed.

See you all this weekend.
