We really need a new thread.. where's a mod when you need them?

Audi Club is hosting an event at SP on Sunday and Monday - September 18-19th, 2011

Sunday: HPDC cost is $180 (braking exercises, slalom, skid pad, afternoon lapping sessions on Jefferson).

Monday: HPDE cost is $190 150 minutes on SP Main.

Sign up for both at the same time and receive $60 discount for total cost of $310. Must have Audi Club membership (purchased by going to www.audiclubna.org). Can sign up just for Sunday ($180), just for Monday ($190) or for both ($370 - $60 discount = $310). Audi Club membership is $49 for one year, the local branch will refund $39 of the membership fee after the event. Membership is good for any Audi Club event for the next year.

Must have a roll bar/cage and harnesses.

To sign up: go to www.audiclubna.org, get a membership (they'll reimburse you $39 of the $49 after the event). Then go to http://pcc-acna.org, create a login there, then go to Events > Full Event Listing then select the Summit Point event that you want to sign up for.

This is relevant to my interests I should be in for Monday. I don't like Jefferson at all, so I don't think I will do Sunday.

Guys I'm holding off on my track car plans for now so the rollbar has to go.

It's a hard dog with welded diagonal, welded lowered harness bar, and seat belt tabs. Probably the best configuration of this bar you can buy. It was pretty scratched up when I got it so it's been sanded, primed, and repainted with black high temp rollbar and chassis paint.

PM me if interested. I'd be glad to meet in the middle somewhere if you aren't local to Richmond.

S2000 CR engine/trans for 2500

Sounds like a great deal.

Wish I could buy as a backup but...

At the very least I could do a side-by-side split screen. Send me the video or a link to it and I'll put it together.
Cool.

You'll have to cut the lap out of a 9-minute clip. T10 before last lap is around the 7:25 mark. Not a problem, right?

Brought forward in case Rob didn't see the link.

Skip, I saw it but I'm having trouble figuring out how to do split screen using my video editing software. I'm pretty sure it can be done though. I did capture your video from youtube so it's ready to be edited.

Hey guys, I'm planning to do karting at SPK. So I was wondering what to look for/ pay attention to during driving and how is it different from s2000. Thanks!

Don't turn and brake at the same time.

Oleg, when are you going? If it's after this weekend I'd love to go up there with you. I am by no means fast but could show you my line around there. It pretty much consists of wait until the last second and turn the kart sideways to slow down. Probably not the quickest way but it is a lot of fun. Oh, and there is a hard left before the esses leading onto the backstretch, don't go wide there. It is super slick out wide and will kill your speed down the backstretch.
