Bah. I autocrossed last year at ACU4 when it got up to 105. I was tired at the end of the day but nobody fell down dead or anything.

Just drink plenty of fluids. I went mountain biking last night for 1.5 hours (fast ride) and felt pretty decent afterwords. Will probably bike tonight or Saturday too.

Thanks I didn't know if it was a no-no to buy used pads. I should probably pair them with new rotors?

I think what I'm going to do for this year is just focus on getting the car together and ready for the track next year. I'll just keep my eye out for good deals as they pop up.

Rollbar is definitely next on the list and once I get that and have it in the car I'll have to stick the stock seat back in and see just how bad it is...or I need to figure out how to make a fixed rail for the stock seat that puts the seat pan on the floor.

Do you have OEM rotors? I would just use them and put the pads on, bed them in and go.

^Yes I do but the car is also still driven on the street once or twice a week (only when it's nice out). Am I going to be ok changing pads back and forth? From what I understand those pads will kill those rotors just doing normal driving or that's just misinformation out on the Interwebz??

That will be awesome! I would like to hear a BMW track review from a former S2000 tracker.
I can give you a definitive answer to that, he will be profoundly disappointed even worse than I was.
Oh, did not expected it to be that bad. Makes me think about a whole bunch of my co-workers who owns a BMW and swears up and down about how great their cars handles. And I always wonder, have they driven a S2000 yet? But a whole bunch of Mercedes owners at my work also says amazing thing about their mercs, I own one so I know what its like.
