Having the wing way up in the clean air allows you to run it with less angle-of-attack and generate less drag. His uprights would generate a lot less drag than the APR with riser that most of us run. It's not particularly attractive but it looks like it would work very well.

^Actually not. I asked him about that too and he said they run a CR trunk with all of the factory bracing and so far it's held up well and wasn't showing signs of needing anything further. He also mentioned it stayed in place very well and pushing on it didn't cause the wing to sway or show some of the movement you might find out of a wing mounted at the outer edges of the trunk.

His wing mounts are solid and probably thinner than the lattice work APR mounts so they would most likely generate less turbulence and drag and interfere with the wing's airflow less.

I vow at this moment not to buy another mod that I won't help me on the track until I've got a harddog rollbar in my car and a brake setup that will work for my first outing or two.
Recommendations on a solid brake setup for a first time out?
I know brake fluid is an absolute must so I've already got that on the list. Some kind of pad upgrade over stock? Do I really need upgraded rears for a first time out? Stainless lines for the first time? If I do run a more aggressive pad up front should I picked up a dedicated set of rotors too?
Obviously the more I keep the cost down the sooner the car is ready to come out and play but I don't want to sacrifice safety either.
My only other concern I have is my seat setup. I simply can't fit comfortably in the car with the stock seat especially once you add the rollbar to the car so I have a Recaro bucket on the driver side. The passenger side is OEM seat for now. Can I get away with the OEM belts or do I need to get harness for both sides?
