Sorry, I know it seems that way. If I could sell these fenders (or never bought them) I would just go with one of the 63 offset wheels. I have just been trying to consider my options if I kept them.

This guy on the R&C forums (f20kills) has ran 17x9.5 +38 RPF1 and now runs 17x10 +45 CE28s with them with 255s. They are seriously WIDE. So I was more concerned about rubbing on the rear fender than the front.

If you aren't going to get some kind of rear overfender I would suggest just keep trying to sell those downforce fronts.

Keep in mind too that a lot of what you see in the Racing & Competition forum is from the Cali guys and almost all of them with the more "aggressive" wheel sizes run coilovers with 800+ lb springs on all corners so that alone probably greatly helps with the rubbing issues.

I am wondering though for some of you guys what you consider to be "rolled" fenders. When I roll them the inner lip is being 90 degress up and sits completely flat against the lip to the point it couldn't possibly go any farther. It's also not hard to give them a slight pull either and have it still look clean. What I don't know though is what certain classes will allow for as far as modifications.

I guess I really need to get out on track and see what my setup does. (currently 17x9 +45 rpf1s with 255s RS3s and KW Clubsports) I'm pretty convinced it won't ever rub up front. I know for sure it won't in the rear. Hard dog bar is next on my list of things to purchase.

Don't mess with the 9.5 +38 out back on stock quarters. That's what I had as previously posted and it was a giant pain to get them to not rub. I wouldn't ever consider that size again without going to overfenders in the rear. Just trust me. I've rolled lots of fenders and know how to properly clearance things and these were still a giant pain. Bumper also took a lot of shaving down to stop rubbing.

Run 2000lb springs and you can slam your car and not have any rubbing issues. But good luck running on local tracks (except VIR and NJMP).

Only have a second...

Tires on the car pictured above seem to be stretched. Also, notice almost no body roll in the corner. Those guys out there think the starting point for spring rates is 1000. LOL

Be aware that no one is picking on anyone. Like Pete said, if this were the street, it'd be one thing. But this is our track/autox arena. First things first- rollbar.

The silver car pictured above is running 17x10 CE28s with 255 NT01s and Tein SRCs which I believe are 16k front and rear. For the tracks out there stiffer does seem to be better.
