Ron - You and I can make the brake ducting a winter job. I'd like to do mine over winter as well. This is an overdue mod with the additional power I'm putting down.
Jim - Nice work on the ducting. What was your whp at your tune and what do you estimate now?
Lou - Glad to hear you're back.

So I compiled a list of all the track outings I could find rest of this year at either SP or VIR. These are just for HPDE/PDX stuff, not Time Trials, etc. They are:
July 11-12 (Track Daze, Summit Point)
July 16 (Friday at the Track, SP)
July 22-24 (NASA, VIR)
August 6 (SCCA, SP)
August 19 (FATT, SP)
August 20-21 (NASA, SP)
August 25-26 (TD, ?)
September 9 (FATT, SP)
September 24 (FATT AND SCCA PDX, SP)
October 1-2 (TD, ?)
October 7-9 (NASA, VIR)
October 14 (FATT, SP)
October 14-15 (TD, VIR)
November 4 (FATT, SP)
November 5-6 (NASA, SP)
November 18 (FATT, SP)
If I missed any let me know. What events are you guys attending the rest of this year?

I can't do that one, I will be getting ready for da beach. It was so hot last year, I don't know if I would want to. And, we had the Red Roof Inn for some daytime cooling. This year you will need to find John, Eric, Erik and the mega motorhomes.

Not I. Likely will do TT at VIR in later July though. I want to get down there once a year, if I can stand the drive in my car and if rain is not in the forecast.

There is a big right hand sweeper similar to T9 at summit on Thunderbolt. Only about 3x longer. I was filling up my catch can after every session, and I started to get a little paranoid about oil starvation. Need to get one of those baffled oil pans....
Matt, have you tried pinching off the PCV line with a large office clip? I know that's where your catch tank is but give it a try one session. Your head will still be vented by the large hose at the front of the valve cover. I moved my catch tank to that large line and plugged the PCV line nipples. I only catch a tiny bit of oil even when running the oil at the "full" mark. If your engine is in bad shape allowing a lot of blow-by your oil dipstick might pop up with the PCV valve line plugged though.
Your oil catch problem is the PCV line is connected to the manifold behind the throttle plate so every time you close the throttle to shift the vacuum sucks the pooled oil into the intake.

No idea actually. I am still using the FPR for tuning, so I just turned it to richen it up a bit and tested it on the street. I was running rich before so I didn't have to do much. Long ago before the front mount, I was at 290 at the rear wheels, no idea where I am now.

I could maybe make July 16th. VIR would be cool, but I don't think I want to try learning a new track until I get a couple more events under my belt.
I bolded the ones that might work for me. Something like November 4-6 would be a cool 3-day track weekend, but pretty expensive...better start saving my pennies. It would be nice to at least get 1 day per month in.

I meant duct.

Ron if you follow Rob's instructions I suggest purchasing or using a hole saw/bit that is 1/4" larger than the tubing. I used the same diameter bit as the tubing and had a really hard time threading the hose through the plastic.

I didn't have any problems getting my tubing though. I wonder how you guys can run such wide tires in the front though. I am running 17x8 +45 wheels in the front with 225 tires and had a hard time getting the tubing just right so they wouldn't rub.
