But seriously, so nobody has any plans to get to the track between now and OCTOBER?

I will be doing some instructing, just not sure when where yet.

I prefer to just look at my car. Taking it to the track is just too much effort.

Costs about the same. Throw a bunkbed in the trailer and you're set.

Allison - I hear you on the house being a money pit. I feel like my paycheck should come by way of home depot gift card. Glad to hear you're not out of the game entirely.
I'm 9 years in on a 27 year old house. Certain things I've been dragging my feet on.. recently resided, new fencing - and need to redo some decking now. Still cheaper than renting, but overall it's work.. and takes cash in large chunks

kinda like buying roll bars and car parts
Lol, I hear ya...I finally started spending money on my car and just watching it disappear in chunks...but I've always wanted to add some modifications, so now's the time...BEFORE I get a house or get married I probably won't really mess with the engine, but focus on braking, handling, cooling. Basically the long term plan is:

-Put on KW V3s
-Get Enkei PF01 in 17x9 square
-Put on the Advan AD08 245 square
-Get Saner bar
-And I know it's not needed, but I just like the look as much as the potential performance aspect...Stoptech BBK
-A baffled oil pan (just in case)
-ARK Design Multi Function Dash II
-Splitter/rear wing when needed

And I think I would be done with things at that point...I think. I just have to make sure not to ride in Jason's turboed S2K and get any ideas..

drop the fancy dash nonsense and put the wing right below the KWs. Forget the BBK. Just get carbotechs and save 2k. You'll still be able to scare your instructor under braking.

More than anything, do it once and do it right. Most of us have wasted $$$ buying something only to sell it and buy what we really needed later, and spending a lot more money as a result.

So a wing really makes a really noticeable difference? The dash may be a little overkill but seemed like a nice and easy way of monitoring oil and water temps. And yeah, I probably wouldn't have the budget for a BBK anyway when all is said and done. I already know what you mean when you say about buying something and then sell it...definitely trying to avoid doing that again.
