My sub belts are too short as they are, but I can't see how to get any other anchors with the seat clearance (back yard rail) I have.
I am afraid of drilling through the fuel line and still not getting the desired result.

Lou,
You could simply show up for the clinic with your NASA instructor license and they'd fit you in no problem because there's always a few no-shows. But it wouldn't hurt to call BSR and firm up a slot.

I finally got out to the garage yesterday and did some work on the S. I removed the passenger window, window track and drive. I fabricated a bracket like the one Piper made that allows the window to be put in place to keep rain out but lifts out easily.
I also wired the heater vent open for defrost, removed the cruise control and started on the A/C removal. You have to pull the alternator to remove the A/C compressor--what a pain.
I still have a seized right rear axle bolt and bad bearing I'm working on but at least I'm making a little progress.

We have the log books with Dan's stamp of completion.
I got the alternator off, the A/C compressor out, and most importantly the alternator back on. The new shorter serpentine belt was easier to install than I thought it would be. Thanks Honda for that very cool auto-belt tensioner.
Next project is to pull the nose off, remove the A/C radiator & lines, remove the air pump, upgrade the brake vents to 2 1/2 inch hose and trim the back edge of the splitter to make it legal for H1.
But right now it's time for a cold beer.
