I'll be racing H1 waiting for Rob to join us. 7 or 8 entries so far..
Maybe I will come and bring my beer drinking skilz. I must admit the HF WV girls frighten me.
Lou, are you up for helping us? I am sure we'll need something. Probably someone to administer valium.

Sorry, I will be in Cleveland attending a wedding.

Ask your local welder to make a house call. The equipment these days isn't that heavy.

So I don't know if any of you remember, but there was a thread on s2ki at some point about the trunk getting deformed allegedly due to the downforce. I thought that it was just someone trying to rip it off. However, couple of weeks ago at NJMP for the 12h endurance race, I saw this yellow s2000 (I think the brakeswap guy was on that team) that also had deformations on the trunk. It had APR-200 wing on it. Have you guys who run that wing on the track experienced amything similar, do you use reinforcement plates?

I've run an APR GTC-200 wing for over 3 years now and have cranked in some pretty good angle of attack--see my sig pic next to Cale. I'm close to 130mph at the end of Summit's front straight and I have no deformation. I looked it over very closely when someone on the R&C forum posted pics of their dented hood.

Here's how I mounted mine: http://robrobinette.com/S2000Wing.htm

The trunk and wing that was George's, Skips, Mani's, mine and now Ron's showed no visible deformities.

Then you are not going fast enough! My trunk is deformed/bent and I use an APR GTC-200 on risers.

When I mounted the Original wing. I mounted it at the back of the trunk in the reinforced area, that's why it was not deformed.

It was a bit of a job.
