Don't worry about the boots, they are just for dust and will start to melt when you go faster. ''
Years ago I went through the trouble replacing them and the seals (PITA) and they started to melt after one event.
There is no need to upgrade the calipers on a S2000 unless you are eating up pads rapidly.
Get some Steel braided lines instead for a firmer pedal.

^^^Best news I've read allday. I put on some Stoptech stainless lines before the last event. They feel great today after replacing the rotors and getting a good bleed.
Also, glad I listened to all your advice prior to the jefferson event about running those pads. I took out the rear pads today and they didn't wear down any lower than the lowest point. The jefferson event evened them out almost perfectly. I'll probably be able to get one more day out of them and a weekend out of the fronts.

Matt's advice saved my day on this one. I ran old XP10s in front / OEM rears with sticky tires and they held up at Jefferson.

^^^I was just thinking about signing up for that event. I want to run Summit Main for my next event and that seems to be the next full weekend event.
*Edit - Registered. You going to be in 2 or 3, Ron?

. I will be in 2, Jason. We should set up a tent, I thinking of buying one from Walmart.
Ron, buy a tent. I plan on being there camping that weekend. Not driving, so I will partake in the beer drinking. I WV.
I have to find one that will fit in my tire trailer or the S trunk.
