Have a great time all.

I was considering going. but my RA1s are all corded, I don't think my cheap street tires are worthy.

If you have vinyl numbers, bring them along. If not, they will assign them to you at the event. You can use tape or that white shoe polish stuff.

There is s student packet available on the Mercedes website.

Looks like it be a great day weather wise!

Jefferson is pretty simply (but fun). Pit out> short straight>Late apex>apex to apex> double apex corner> high speed down hill turn (take a little late)> straight>wiggle> super late apex corner> front straight>rinse, repeat.

f that, throw on the street tires and rip it up. There will be tons of Miata to play around with.

I just arrived from a 2 days drive this afternoon (super tired ).

Anybody have a spare racing rear brake pads? I will pay you at the track. The pads that I ordered did not arrived while I was gone so now I have RP2 fronts and OEM rear. My only option now is to run with the OEM tires with OEM brake pads, but I'm not sure if I will have fun babying my tires and brakes.

Regardless I will be there toporrow but may not bring the trailer anymore.

This track is not that hard on pads compared to the Main course.

Ron - just run the RP2 and OEM rear and your sticky tires.

We did a 24 hours race in the volvo on RP2 and oem rears. The car stopped like crazy and the front brakes barely looked worn.

Ron,
Run what Matt suggested. I'll bring my spare set of rear xp8 that you can buy off me if the OEM pads don't work out.

Thanks, Jason.

I just finished prepping and packing and another aha moment came up. The brand new RP2s does not fit , luckily I have a set of old XP10s that has a little meat left into it. We will find out after one round if the OEMs will hold out.

See yall tomorrow.
