$10 Discount on Second Slot for Saturday September 24th at Harry Grove
To help increase interested in the September 24th event at Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick, MD, we are offering the following special.
For anyone paying for a second slot, the second slot will be $10 off. So if you are a member the second slot for a member will only be $20. If the second slot is for a non-member the cost will be $30 (rather than $40).
The second slot can also be used the same driver (e.g. they would drive in two heats) or for a guest.
To sign up for a second slot:
1. Make a second reservation (for you or the guest)
2. Type "Second Slot" in the Notes Section (if it is for a guest, state your name - e.g. second slot guest of John Doe). You must type "Second Slot." Otherwise, we may think you mistakenly submitted duplicate reservations.
-Several people used the second slot for a guest (some that never autocrossed with CDC)
-Many participants used the second slot to get 12 runs
-Some used the second slot to be a point autocross in the 6 morning runs (since only the first 6 counted for points) then treated the afternoon as a TNT by trading cars with other two slot participants
This offer is only extended for the Saturday event (not the other day) at Harry Grove on September 24th, 2011.
If you have any questions, let me know at capitaldriving@yahoo.com.

Isn't the Meadowlands awesome?? That's where I did my first AutoX. As you can imagine, I got lost several times on that huge lot.

Jeff, the consensus seems to be that Hershey is the best surface outside of the new meadowlands in the area (I haven't been there yet). I'll let Noel verify that, but the big hershey lot lends itself very well to solo.
Here is a vid of the lot.....also, about 1/3 of the lot wasn't used for this course.

Yes, you are correct. The pavement at Hershey and the Met Life Stadium / New Meadowlands is nearly identical. They are both virtually brand new and the same surface. NJ is bigger (and better), but Hershey Main is my favorite location within two hours.
Here is video of earlier this year at Hershey Main when I was in my Z4:

Ha Ha. That looks so slow now (looking back on the Z4 and street tires (Yokohamas). I was still 1st in STR that day and 14th in PAX though No need to comment on how the CR would do in either BS or STR...

Thanks! Broken link now but I was able to get them. Now I get to go over some numbers and do a little bench racing, haha. Actually I do like to do some comparison to help me understand the coulda, shoulda, woulda.
