Meadowlands was where I got my start Autocrossing. Hell of a hard lot to learn on though as the courses were HUGE. I'll be up in NJ for a triathlon on Saturday, and I don't think I'll want to leave an air-conditioned room after that. Have fun up there Noel!

I could stab someone......
The shocks I waited almost 6 weeks for don't even remotely fit. Lowest ring on the threaded coil is almost 4" HIGHER than factory ride height. Back in a box to OH already, but I doubt I have them for the last two SCCA events.

SATurday August 6th Autocross
OK, now that we are past the last event being cancelled...Let's try this again. Hylton HS in Woodbrdge, VA is the location of the next Capital Driving Club autocross on SATURDAY August 6th.
Registration and tech inspection will be at 8:00 am and will promptly close at 8:45 am to try to accommodate the full field, while still giving 6 runs. You must be DONE by 8:45 am. So if you arrive at 8:00 am you won't have a problem. Don't arrive at the last minute.
Due to increases in costs from last year, the event fee for the Saturday autocross is $30 for members and $40 for non-members.
On-line Reservation System
Member reservations (or participants that will join the club upon showing up) for any events can be made at any time. Because of the all the non-members having their reservations being cancelled from the last event, Open reservations for non-members and members will start now.
New Members
We will be accepting new members at this event. If you plan to join the club at this event, you may make a reservation at this time by doing the following:
1. Use "0" as the member number (a permanent number will be assigned to you after you join and you will get a temporary number for this event)
2. TYPE "I will be joining the club at this event" in the NOTES section when making you reservation.
If you have any questions, let me know at capitaldriving@yahoo.com.
Ed
PS - There will be a free sailing event (in conjunction with CDC) Thursday July 28th in Alexandria, Va at 6pm to Sunset. See the thread below for details:

Make sure you mention CDC when making a reservation there.

I was just in Vegas on my trip. I'm in OKC right now. You need to keep going west. San Francisco is lovely right now, as is San Diego. Reno, NV was in the upper 50s this morning with like 500 mile visibility.
Phoenix, Las Vegas, Oklahoma City, and points other than the west coast all suck right now. Waaay too hot. And if you do hit Cali, maybe you can pick me up an exhaust.
I want a 70mm T1R EM single from a dude that will only sell locally and I only passed through Nor Cal. Otherwise I have to wait like three months to get one, and I may decide to go to Natioals, and would prefer not to carry the extra 40 lbs of OEM exhaust.

I've been having some second thoughts about maybe going to Nationals, but I would rather get punched square in the eye daily than drive my car all the way to NE. I think I will wait until next year. Hopefully I will have a new SP class to play in!
