Mike, are you putting those 285s on OEM wheels? What is the width, and are the tires pinched?

Nope, I get to play with BSP rules. The wheels are 10.5 or 11" wide. Not sure, but they are big. I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to going to an event and not having to change wheels!

That's right. My bad.

How do these pics strike you?

Rear (8.5" wheel with 255)

Front (7" wheel with 255)

So far, they feel fine with +5 psi in the front from what I would run with the 9" wheel. Perhaps a little more understeer, but it is hard to judge on the street. I am really guessing.

I wouldn't expect it to be razor sharp, but it's what you got...

I've never driven on the AD08's, but if the sidewalls are as stiff or stiffer than the star specs....you may be alright.

Side note...THEY HAVE ARRIVED! Not sure why they painted them yellow....I would have preferred them to stay white like the rears, but I am just glad they are back.

Will be on for CDC next Saturday.

Looks good. BTW, AD08s are the stiffest of the extreme performance street tires. That's why they are so good at slaloms. So I guess I have the best non R-comp tire to run oversize.

Only one way to know for sure...

I was reading that. I have the SPS, but not the SPS number set. I think you need both for the bigger prizes.

Are their numbers that unique? I'm hoping for something at the bottom of the RWD awards. ST and AWD look crazy hard -- glad I'm not there hoping the racerubber guys take a while to get used to street tires
