I may be bailing on tomorrow. Not really feeling the 2.5hr drive each way....
Side note...bigger wheels and sticker hoosiers should be on order Monday. The suspension should be back soon as well. On top of that...new rear exhaust section and re-tune are to be done in the next couple of weeks (hopefully not even louder than it is now ). Looking at seats now as well. So...yeah...I am spending some money ).

I saw that, but it's $100-$120 event for me as well. Gas+tolls+entry fee=too much loot for a regional event. That's on top of 5hrs of driving. I think I'll pass this time. I do plan to run Susquehanna region event next Sunday at Hershey Giant lot. It only takes me 1hr10mins to get there. Have fun.

Fineberg crushed in PAX. I probably should have gone, but I felt lazy. Just ordered another set of RPF1's (18x10.5 +15mm) and sticker A6's . Hoping to have the suspension back and installed, fresh alignment, sticker hoo's, and a new seat for SCCA on the 10th. I also registered for the street tire challenge last night. Who all is going?

haha, he was so happy about that. Part of it was we had lots of novices, and he kept catching up and getting red flagged so he got a whole bunch of looks at the course. Even without that he would have still won PAX though, just by not as huge of a margin. I was happy because my fiance/codriver beat me and won STR and got 9th in PAX out of 162 drivers. I was 2nd in class/19th in PAX. Results here. It was a very tough course with not obvious lines and very, very little room for error.
I'm not doing street tire challenge because I'm doing the cone killer classic in Central PA (it's a tradition for us). Not many people, very laid back, 2 days, and huge airport course. Oh and near Penn State. Plus ironically the street tire challenge doesn't look great for STR cars. Either way I have to run against rally cars - either PAX based competition against STU or doing BSP street tire, either way our car isn't competitive. I'd probably do it anyway if there was nothing else going on but I'd rather do the cone killer.

Tell me about it....I'm not looking forward to running against what is tantamount to STU on roids. Just doing it for fun. My buddy is going to let me borrow his Enkei's with 285 RS3's for the event. He'll probably co-drive too, but he has only done a handful of autocrosses before....he is on tire warming duties . Luster/Shane will the men to beat for the challenge, though.
