I couldn't begin to guess. But, yea, it was a smaller crowd. Afternoon heats 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 were combined.

, what a fun and fast course.

I bailed because of the weather forcast from earlier in the week. 3 1/2 hour drive to possibly run in the rain was too much of a risk. I know they had to be gone by 2 today because of a baseball game tonight but they wanted to finish the heats by 12:30. Would have been nice to make it, maybe next time. Now I need to figure out what to do next week so I can get some seat time before Atlanta.

Sounds like the last car was done just before 1pm with AI. Pat Griffith won PRO PAX in Karen Kraus's ESP WRX. Looks like it stayed mostly damp.

Juan,

Watching the vids from NCC today.....that lot looks REALLY small. Almost like 2 Frederick's put together.

Think you made the right call there. AI was a little disappointing... rain ended up just passing through before we got there, so things were just wet. Course was really short and really tight, possibly because of the time constraints coupled with the anticipated rain. It was one of those courses with a painfully low payoff to punishment ratio. Had I known it was going to be a CDC-style, mostly-first-gear course, I would've just...gone to CDC.

On the upside, I do make funny noises during this run, so it wasn't all bad...

Could you link to one or more of the videos? I'm curious to see them.
