Default 2009 Mid-Atlantic HPDE Schedule

NASA doesn't have anything up for '09 yet, but I'm hoping to qualify for the March Instructors' Clinic. Anyone have any inside info on their first few events of the year?

I plan to run Summit Point's NASA events, Seat Time, FATT, and FATT Solo HPDEs and at least one NASA VIR TT.

I also plan to sell the 03 GSXR-1000R and replace it with a track only 600 sport bike for Summit Point NESBA events.

Anyone interested in an 03 GSXR?

Sarah says.... NO.

I really want one, but I think my first bike might be something a little slower

Looking to the 09 season, id really like to venture off and do what I wanted to do this year... go to Mid Ohio, Wakins Glen... New Jersey (hopefully ill go by the end of this year)

Kelly Blue Book for an 03 GSXR-1000R is $6600 so that's what I'm asking. It has less than 1000 miles on it and I've run synthetic in it since the break-in oil & filter was changed.

PM me if you're interested.

Rob... I was looking at this (Normal FATT Schedule)
http://www.bsr-inc.com/projects/projects3/proj3_1/1.pdf

Do the instructors only get 2 sessions? Or do you run with group 2 during the day or something??

You normally get two sessions. A 50 minute session from 9:00 - 9:50, then the 30 minute pm session. They do usually let us run in the last group 2 session too, but you have to ask the lead instructor (I've never been turned down).

Feb & Mar '09 @ VIR-Full should be a go, same as '08 (3rd weekend Feb / 4th weekend Mar) with open practice, test & tune, supercomp schools, and instructor clinics on the appropriate Fridays.

Or so I've heard,

Jon

I would like a extensive test ride

Cale you will die on that thing.

I did NESBA for a few years before I got into car stuff.

Had a R6 and a FZR400 for track bikes.

You know.. The TTC winning S2000 had no wing, no splitter, 235-255 Toyo RA-1s... He did have a reflashed ECU and a strong 07 car.

Whats crazy about the whole thing is yea his car is fast, but he ran times competitive with H1 cars. Basically cars that can do alot more modifications than he can.

Rene didnt do it with his car at all. As a driver, he is in a completely different class.
