2005 ap2 Buzzing on deceleration
I've got about 725 miles on the car now. For the first 200 - 250 I didn't hear any buzzing. Since then, I've been hearing buzzing coming from (I believe) low in the engine bay only when I'm decelerating with the engine between 4k - 2k RPM in gear. Anyone else experience this with an ap2? Am I being neurotic and listening to the engine too closely? (this is the first new car I've ever purchased)
I did a little research on this and saw that it was a problem on the 00-02' ap1 and Honda had a tsb, but nothing after those years. Anyone have any thoughts/experience with this? Note, I didn't put it into VTEC until just over 600 miles.
Peace,
Marcus
PS - I still LOVE the car.

I can't think of anything specific, but jack the car up and take a look if you feel comfy. Maybe cat. heat shield?
Im with Mike, maybe your Cat or header heat shield.... I would check and make sure they are both on tight.

just a thought, on my first AP1 - there is a bracket on your header which bolts to the block and it broke and rattled like mother f'er. if after you do some research and find by weird happen stance that it is that bracket i have an extra. i bought two just incase.

It's not that loud so its probably not the broken bracket. I'll check the heat shield. Forgive my retardedness, but what's the cat?
Thanks for the help guys.
