Default 09 G8 GXP with mods

So, I'm about to pull a trigger on this 2009 G8 with GXP with really good coilovers and pipes to the mufflers for an OK price. The thing has 50k miles on it and it's owns by a race shop owner, which I know it's been raced at the track like a dirty dog, but I know it's been taken care of as well.

So, do I pull the trigger?

I test drove this thing and felt weird, odd, not right, and uncomfortable. Then I got back into my S2k and felt the world was right again. But I need a bigger, interstate car for travel and I love my dog enough that I need a bigger car to haul her with me when I leave for a trip.

Then on the way back home, I did a Traffic Dance with this really hot girl in a blue black 2011 BMW M3 with peddle shifters (I could hear it) for about 20 miles along 270, then the traffic got heavy, and she pulled up next to me and gave me a thumbs up, and I wanted to scream out, "will you marry me!" but I didn't, unfortunately.

Anyway, my s2k is paid for, and G8 is ok, but a lot of miles on it and it's little beat up.

I want to know what you think.

Thx.

Are you talking about replacing your S with the G8 or just getting the G8 as a second car? If replacement is the goal, I say no way. You don't want a beaten on Pontiac as your daily and only driver. As a second car though? Why not. If it is an option, I'd say keep the S (it is paid for) and just get a cheapish daily driver.

For a second car, I would go for it. I always wanted an American V8 muscle car myself, GTO in one of them in my list but G8 GXP is higher model of that. It's like having a 4 door corvette (LS3 engine) with enterior of a cadillac and it's aussie made with german handling. I think it's one of the under appreciated good car out that.

Like what I said, go for it!

Actualy I'd buy it as replacement for my S2000.
