So I'm cleaning the springs. I can't figure out why they won't come clean.
Then I realize the bottom side of the springs are glossy and clean. 
The numb-nuts got some overspray on my springs and now they have a dull, slightly metallic topcoat. I'm gonna try to polish them off, but what a pain in the a$$!
