Also, Chad, you will most likely have difficulty getting off the line for reasons other than lack of experience. Your car's alignment will also hinder your time. Because of our camber, we are not applying the tire's full potential in a straight line. This hurts off the line.

BTW, I suck off the line. Aggressive alignment or not. Also, can't remember if you have rebound adjustable shocks or not, but you'll want to soften them up for the drag. Not sure what tire pressure is good for strip.

I'll definitely make sure to look at that when i get to the track. I personally thought you would want the rear to be more stiff on the track so it stays planted more. But I'm glad you told me about that.
I'm hoping to learn alot this weekend on the track. i've been mis-shifting 1st to 2nd alot too, hopefully that shit goes away

i drop mine at 4k.

The reason people race for money is because after you dump 6k into your motor and make you car fast, shit breaks when you go out racing people. I race many friends with fast cars all the time but when you talk to a person you don't know, it would be more worth your while to run then if you had a chance of winning some loot. I know many people with low 11 second stock looking cars that don't even work and make all their money racing for $400. If you can do that 2-3 days a week then who would want to work?
