The S2000 is hard to launch. You dont want to dump the clutch because of the diff, but you cant really slip it to well with the factory clutch because once you start to slip it, it heats up and doesnt want to grab anymore. Then finding that right rpm to launch at where you dont bog, and dont spin all the way through first is difficult. But you are supercharged so i imagine it will be completely different for you. If i were you i wouldnt really even launch the car, maybe roll of the clutch around 3k or so.

Well from what i've been told, with all the rubber at the tree... your car will grab alot more on the track than it would on a regular road. causing more stress to the diff than normal.
but fock what ive heard.. i'll ask you, you know.. with you being mr. big time track guy going a whole 1 time & all

Well, I do have the aftermarket clutch set-up : OEM Disc, ACT Pressure Plate, Comptech Heavy Duty Flywheel. But dont know how much of a difference that will make on the track.
Guess i'll just play around with it and find out what works best

driving on a track is a whole lot different than driving on the street. And that does not mean it is always stickier. I have broken the back end loose going into 4th with the s2000, and before i boosted my hatch i would break the front tires loose going into fourth on that. you just need to find the tracks on the lane and try and stay in them to gain the most traction.

just be careful, i would worry about your diff more than your clutch. I broke my differential running my STOCK S2000 at the track, and i only ran it there 3 seperate occasions i believe. But i launched on the street a fair amount of times too. But havnt done it since i had it repaired.

Aight. I've only launched my car once on the street and it was only a 2700rpm drop.
