The fact is that one can get a C5 at a steal of a deal. Tony, if you want it, buy it. Don't listen to the haters here. With the prices being offered to move them, you're getting a ton of car for the money.

Sometimes I get really annoyed at folks believing that the S is the "end-all-be-all" vehicle. I still believe if one rolls up in an S and another person rolls up in a Vette, the Vette wins the "presence" award.
SKIP, please understand I am NOT a VETTE hater.

I LOVE CORVETTES, all of 'em!!!!

I just think the C6 is soo superior, I wouldn't want the C5. Just me personally.

And you should know that the I don't think the S is the end-all-be-all. I like my S, mostly because it is one of the few 'verts that isn't a girls car. Also, because it is an engineering marvel!

So TONY, no offense on the C5. I love Corvettes. And I can't afford a C6, right now, either But someday

[QUOTE=dave22,Mar 1 2005, 05:37 PM] Anywhere a Vette goes, there are already at least three Vettes already there.

Maybe someday, but not yet. Zs are still young. Let's go to Wal Mart and count all of the Vettes, Zs, and S2000s in the parking lot.

$50 says the Vettes win

Nice picture Rob, but I wouldn't care too much either normally.....not until one came up for sale by a coworker for a great price. I'm thinking about picking it up as a beater/AutoX car
