The fact is that one can get a C5 at a steal of a deal. Tony, if you want it, buy it. Don't listen to the haters here. With the prices being offered to move them, you're getting a ton of car for the money.

Sometimes I get really annoyed at folks believing that the S is the "end-all-be-all" vehicle. I still believe if one rolls up in an S and another person rolls up in a Vette, the Vette wins the "presence" award.

I agree with the rest of your post (don't tell anyone).

But I disagree with this statement. Anywhere a Vette goes, there are already at least three Vettes already there. That diminishes any presence it may have. I know the S2000 isn't then end-all be-all, but it is certainly a cooler car to see in a crowd.
