my G4 at home has 1 gig of RAM... and dual 1.24 ghz processors... I've never experienced problems working from it at home doing freelance work... and the new G5's own my G4

Poindexter, have you looked at NOVA for classes? What about FairFax County continued education classes? Most of the times the FFX classes are taught by professionals in the industry as opposed to just a teacher.
I'm taking a 3D computer graphics class at Nova right now, its a little slow going, but it was only $225 and once a week fits my schedule. I'm not looking for a certificate or a grade, just training and it works out fine.

I just got off the phone with the local Photoshop instructor for CompUSA and it sounds like he can give me the basics that I want within two classes @ $129 a class (which my company will pay for ), so I think I'm going to give that a try. Gotta run it past the boss Friday....

I got elements 3.0 and i say ... yes ... get it.
It makes things so much easier like brushing away blemishes and correcting white balance and if pics are too dark etc.
