Hey y not go with the comptech intake?? anyways, if i hear anything on a spoon or injen ill let u know.

or go with the carbon garge defend rad cover in the group buy section, like the one i just got

1) I think the spoon filter is overated. Aren't you in Williamsburg/Hampton Roads? If so, I would avoid the Injen intake like the plague! It floods around here, especially Va Beach/Norfolk and run a significant risk of hydrolocking your engine (for 3hp..MAX) its not worth it. Comptech is a good alternative or the Spoon snorkel... easy to disconnect. Just my 2cents.

Or you can save a few bucks and get the knock-off spoon style snorkel off ebay($160). I have one and it works well and looks great. Also, fits good with some minor adjustments to the hood. But I think the Spoon snorkel also has the same issues. I'm also using the Sprint air filter which is cheaper than the Spoon. I'm in Hampton if you want to check it out some time. Other filter choices are the Comptech and JR filter.
