WTB: oem front lip protector, BUT.............
i want to buy the oem front lip protector, so i went to the sponsor site, coastal metal, but the price doesn't make sense.
oem bumper protector............80
oem front lip protector.............160
think about it, if i spend 150 more, i can order a new front lip from chicago honda.
what should i do, please help?

Sorry you made it sound like you were out to buy one. LOL, I thought that was rediculous as well. Shoot my bodyman will spray my whole bumper for me for $80 and I can do it twice for the price of the lip protector.

I don't think so. They look like the same stuff to me. I think they are trying to capitalize on the fact that there may be more potential demand for the lip protector as the lip sits lower and S2ks with it tend to bottom out more than S2ks without it for obvious reasons.

I have a brand new one. I bought it from a fellow memeber for $225. He had it in the box with the mounting hardware sealed. I'll mount it on Sunday after installing new rotos. I also have a silver one, silverstone I think. Has a minor crack underneath and needs some paint. I guess that is what the protector is supposed to help avoid. Should be no more than $50 to paint and $15 for materials to fill the crack, I paid $150 for it so...$215. I still would have saved a few bucks compared to new.
