WTB: Derbi GPR50 or Aprilia RS 50
First off, unless you have something to sell, or a direction to send me so that I can find one of these dont bother posting.
I'm looking for one of these to ride around campus on next year. I don't want to ride a regular bike, and I live too far away to walk. I dont have the kind of cash to drop on a real bike, and don't want to pay the insurance either. So if anyone knows someone thats trying to sell one for a good price please let me know.

How much do you plan on spending?
Personally, I'd go with the Derbi. The RS50 simply seems to have too many problems.
If you want something to get around in, why not just a scooter?

Trying to spend less than 2400. I thought even though both of these bikes are not powerful at all I figured it would be a good way for me to get my feet wet and get comfortable on a bike. Do you know where I can find one?

Wow, you picked two very hard-to-find bikes. There is absolutely no market for these bikes in North America. 15 HP, 50cc, motorcycles retailing for $3500+ USD is a tough sell.
So, obviously, your local Aprilia dealer can get you a new one. There also seem to be a few Derbi dealers in North Carolina. You could give them a call and see if they can give you a lead on a used bike.

Have you cruised over to the Aprilia Formum web site and done a search?? Maybe post your request over there?
Search of RS50's for sale on ApriliaFormum
Have you even considered a YSR50? I'm sure you could get a YSR for a hell of a lot cheaper You might have a better time finding a one local to you, and if not, there are loads of YSRs, street and race, up for sale on all sorts of YSR specific sites.
I will say this: that RS50 is a beautiful looking bike. Too bad you don't live in Italy. Every second kid had one of these.
