Question would anyone be interested in 4.57 R gears and

they have less than 1k miles on them. Let me know if your interested in buying it. The thing is.........I would your need your stock diff which has ti be in excellent working condition and someone would have to do the swap. I know is that Lynwood honda can do it here in WA but they charge 4 -5 hours of labor to take the diff out the car then put a new diff in, so comes out to be low $300s after tax.

so here would be the plan.

All you would to do is put the diff in your car direct swap and your done........

there are 2 issues though: 1st is that I need a good stock diff. I would have the buyer ship me theirs. then I would go to a honda shop and have them do the install. Then I would ship comptech diff and 4.57 gears to the buyer onces its out. The diff that the buyer sends me will be inspected for any damage, working cocndition etc. So please be hoenst or you will be wasting YOUR money and time as I said it will be inspected.

issue 2: the cost to do the swap is 4-6 hours labor which is $low 300s after taxes. Perhaops i could cover half and so could buyer.

Brand new it would cost $1650 shipped and also $1,000 deposit for a total of $2650 which you get the 1,000 back later.

I will sell it for $1150 shipped. Its only 3 weeks old. Then we would have to work out the install costs and split diff.

Im selling it because I'm selling my s2k. The comptech diff is mintttttttttt and has never been luanched although it is built to withstand thousands of launches. The gears are also VERY fast.

You should find someone else to do the swap. It only takes 1-1/2 to 2 hours by a competent mechanic. The going rate in So. Cal where shop rates are much higher is only $125 to $160.

My stock diff is in good shape (or so I think). I've launched the car only 5 times in 38,000 miles and all 5 were when I first got it. I haven't been under the car to look but I'd say its in good shape as I've never had a problem. However here is my issue. I'm in TX and my S is my daily so I cannot wait for the diff to be installed on your car and shipped here. My preferance would be that you ship to me and then I'll ship mine to you once installed. In addition I'd be willing to take detailed photos of my diff for your review of its physical appearance before any transaction took place.

Let me know if you are interested.

hey so after all the work you are now selling the car! hahaha

Well I never really planned to get gears but since you are selling...hmmm

I'm local so I can actually drive my s2k up there to do the swap if this pans out. How about your supercharger too? package deal?

I still have my supercharger brand new that I could easily sell to someone in norcal.

Is the gears that much faster?

PM me and we can talk....

The gears are the best power mod you can get without FI but you sacrifice and lower top speed.
