Just out of curiosity why you would want a JDM head gasket??

If you've got the head off why not get the spoon or mugen gasket!

Because if you run toda cams with the spoon/mugen gasket the valves might hit the pistons.

Are you sure there is a difference in head gaskets? I'm running a JDM engine and the only differences I know of are the pistons and the elimination of the VTEC oil pressure signal (and the engine code of course ).

doesn't the JDM gasket raise the compression which results in the extra 10 crank hp JDM cars get?

compression is raised to 11.3:1 by increasing the dome on the top of the piston
i am not sure about the gasket though

spoon gasket is slightly thinner
i am not sure if they have a "normal" gasket
