TW: AP1 tranny for sale
I will be swapping my AP1 tranny with an AP2 in a about 2 weeks.
coming off my 02 sebring. ~97k miles, orginal clutch, changed MTF regularly (about every 7k-10k miles) currently running Redline MT-90. Sometimes the clutch dics still buzzes on decel after spirited driving. <-- never bothered me much after finding out that it was normal to the s2k. May want to fix that before installing. Other than the buzz, there's no problems.
not sure how much this would go for, I'm asking $500 obo (comparing to others recently sold.)
currently on car until I get my AP2 tranny installed in about 2 weeks.
located in Northridge, CA
willing to ship.
EDIT: while swapping trannies, if your clutch/disc is good, you can use that and eliminate the clutch buzz (assuming that yours doesn't have it.)
UPDATE 3/11: SOLD!! thanks!

No grind, the buzz is from the OEM clutch (disc springs) vibrating and doesn't affect performance, it is not the tranny. There was a TSB fix for it. Many 00-03 owners have had the fixed and some didn't bother, we didn't.
It never buzzed during normal driving, only after spirited/high rpm driving.
I was going to get a Competition Clutch from Automotive Speed before i came across a good deal on an AP2 tranny with aftermarket clutch.
In other words, an aftermarket clutch or new OEM clutch disc upgrade would fix the buzz. But i would just get an aftermarket upgrade while the whole tranny is out.
thanks for asking tho.
