Testing Waters: X-brace Fabrication
Hey guys, I'm just curious to know if I came up with a design for a custom X-brace very similar to ones made by Spoon and Comptech with the same quality if not better of material, structure, and welds would you guys have any interest in purchasing it for ~$200. If I get enough people interested then I can go ahead and design a prototype, present it to you guys for feedback, then if approved actually fabricate one and post pics.

From what I hear, the Spoon one interferes with oil changes. If you were to make one, I would suggest making one that doesn't. Also, X-Braces can be found for around $200 already. What makes your x-brace better than any other one?
Thanks,
Ryan

I have a Spoon one on my car now and I just did an oil change yesterday...Does it interfere?...A little bit but you can still easily access the drain bolt and oil does get spilt on it so you have to clean the X-brace after you're done. Other than that there are no major problems. The Comptech X-brace goes for around $350 new and I believe the Spoon is around $300 if I'm not mistaken.

Technically you have to be a sponsor or vendor to have a thread like this. So don't be suprised if this gets locked/deleted.
