Glad people getting these can make a buck. Someone will always pay for something that they want now. I waited until the Xbox360 was available. I bought a few games and it was fun for about a week. It's sitting idle next to my 32" HDTV LCD that I bought just to play it for the last 3-4 months. Anyways, I'm sure I'm not the only one. Same thing with the PS3. I'm going to wait. I'm sure all the new games for it will be the same old stuff just with better graphics. I'm only a little excited about the Wii because of the new controller. We need better games.

You do know that most stores aren't making guarantees that even if you preorder you will receive it before xmas. You should check with whoever you made your order with just so people can gauge what it's worth.

Most stores = Game Stop/EB Games. To my knowledge, nobody else has offered preorders so far.
Game Stop told me that it can't be held responsible for any shipping delays on behalf of Sony if that's what you mean. So no, Game Stop didn't even give me a guarantee that I would receive it by the apocalypse.
Gauge what it's worth? That's been done already by eBay buyers and sellers, aka the market. All I'm asking is that those interested make me an offer.
