brand new in the box 4.77 ring and pinion made by kia

- i was orginally going to install this and now i think i'm going to take a different route. all i did was open it to inspect the condition and now it's just collecting dust.

Im new to the S2k world...what else is required to install these besides installation? I dont think there is anything besides shims correct?

sorry, forgot to add my location...im just outside of chicago.

as far as installation, hardtopguy sells an oem installation kit which should have everything you need. also, you probably want to get a yellow box to correct the speedo

wow, are these the same type of gears that HTG sells? what else would I need to pick up? Ap2 diff?

About 6 hours of labor to remove the diff from and put it back on the car. Having the gears installed into the diff 2-3 hours if you can find someone you trust to do it properly with the shims. Plus of minus 600 dollars.

^thanks for info. i think i was quoted ~$400 from a trusted installer to do the install.
