S2000 Complete Winter Wheel Set
Name: Ken
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Means of Contact: Start with PM - would prefer to keep my # and email off publicly searchable areas.
Description: S2000 Complete Winter Wheel Set
I'm selling a complete set (4) of winter wheels for $499 + shipping: Michelin X-Ice tires completely mounted and balanced on Sport E1 rims (16"). This is approximately 1/2 of what I paid new (around $1000). The 16" tires provide more sidewall as well as some extra room in the wheel well for potholes and should fit any model year S2000.
I drove on them for 1 season (approx. 3K miles) in Minneapolis and found they were great tires that powered through ice and snow. They still have most of their tread left. In fact, they made me want to get winter tires for my other car as well!
I am selling them because I ended up commuting on the bus last winter and never even put them on. Otherwise, I would keep driving my S2000 in winter with no reservations.

I sure did. I have to admit I was tentative at first but the winter wheels really grip like glue. I really had no idea that tires could make that big of a difference.

Thanks for the reminder on pics. I tried to get an up close of the tread to show that there is little wear. I bought them from Jim @ Tire Rack.
Let me know if you have additional questions.

Thanks to everyone for all of the inquiries. Here are the answers to multiple questions:
Size:
225/50 R 16 92 Q (Rear)
205/55 R 16 91 Q (Front)
The wheels weigh approx. 42 lbs each and would be shipping from 55419 (Minneapolis) if you want to explore shipping options on your own. They came to me UPS ground from the Tire Rack and that seemed to work well.
Please do let me know if you have additional questions.
