Powerflex Bushings
New Powerflex Bushings for sale. I never got around to getting them installed. Located in the SF Bay Area.
Front Upper Wishbone Bushings: PFF25-201 (4 piece)
Rear Upper Wishbone Bushings: PFR25-210 (4 piece)
The front bushings can go on any year S2000. The rear bushings are for 00-03 S2000s.
Preference is to sell them together.
Asking $170 shipped to lower 48 states. SOLD!!!
These are polyurethane suspension bushings for the (4) upper control arms. They are stiffer than OEM bushings and the cheaper option for a bushing replacement. You can research Powerflex bushings on the site and see what people think of them. I bought them to put in, but never got around to it so I can't comment on any feel changes.
Suspension bushings are wear items. More so if you autox/track.
OEM bushings have two metal sleeves which are bonded together using rubber. Movement of the bushing causes rotation of the inner sleeve which flexes the rubber. So it gives some spring rate and acts like a vibration dampener, but deflection can increase over time with the degradation of the rubber material.
The Poly bushings have an inner metal sleeve which rotates in polyurethane. The Polyurethane is less forgiving so it should make for better suspension response. The inner metal sleeve and the control arm cup are still moving against the polyurethane so you need to make sure you have good lubrication, or else you will get some squeeks. You'll hear this when you research polyurethane bushings. Powerflex says their design is better at resisting squeeks, but I think you really need to stay up on the lubrication aspect.
Berk 63.5 HFC for sale. Only used for ~5000 miles. SOLD!!!
